Pinnacle DV codecs...

okies, i use Hollywood FX within Studio7 for some titling and sprodaic transitions, and i cant for the life of me seem to be able to find a good codec which doesnt give me aexcessive combing or strobing...

there are soo many, and im jsut wondering what would be a good codec to use which give me about 1600bps bitrate?

Uncompressed would be best

Actually, I think it would be useful if Pinnacle added a bitrate slider that could be adjusted while playing back the entire movie
from within the app. A codec Chooser with compression parameters would be cool, even if it doesn't totally run in real time.

Peter, as for your problem, have tried low-pass filtering your output ? This blurs the video, but reduces aliasing artifacts.

In Studio7, you can use the video effects page Blur filter as the low pass filter.
