Windows XP question
Hey guys
A little question.... Running Win XP Pro here. It does this thing where it saves everything I type in my web browser, or anywhere else in Windows, so that when I type something else, it pops up a list of everything I've already entered so I can quick serch for it. It was cool at first, but now its getting annoying. How do I turn this off? For example, if I'm doing a search in Yahoo and start typing in Canon, it'll bring up everything I've ever entered starting with "c", then "ca", then "can" etc... as I type it in. Thanks |
In Explorer, click on Tools > Internet Options > Content > Autocomplete
Then choose which of those you'd like autocomplete to be used for. |
Thanks Barry, I didn't even know it had a name!
