Thanks for the concern. I still keep this power supply despite the bad reputation. It doesn't giving me any problem. I encoded a 2 hour h.264 1920x1080 for about 7 hours and not an error or hiccup. By the way, I think I got the new version because this is Modular.

Added 6gig more RAM for a $100....

I don't know that your power supply has a bad reputation, but from that review it would seem to be mediocre quality engineering at best. I hope it continues to work well for you for years to come, but I've replaced way to many failed mediocre PSUs over the years to put one in any computer system I really depend on.
