NLE Output Quality Difference?

Is there a difference in the output quality of the different NLE apps out there. I am currently using PP1.5 and my final output for tv viewing, Comercials ect, the Text or any 3d that I use dont look as clean as it does on regular broadcast shows.

For example I made a 3D logo in 3ds max for my company to go in the bottom right hand corner of a production. But when it went out to TV broadcast it didnt look as clean and defined as it did. Then I watch a kids show on Nick with a similar logo in the bottom right hand corner and it looked as if it was poping out of the screen it was so crisp.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yes, there is a difference in quality in NLE's, more specific in the
algorithms they use and how they are implemented. However,
usually the difference isn't that great.

The real question (in my mind) should be what could go wrong
in your workflow:

1. does it look as great as the kids show when it is rendered straight out of max?

2. does it still look that great when you load it into Premiere?

3. does it still look that great when exported to your final format and watching it on your computer?

If all of the answers are yes then it is the broadcasting etc. You
can try to pin down what is happening. Can you also tell use
to what format you are exporting from Premiere?
