If the prefetch cache causes this, then all the more reason to diminish the impact of SSD's, because it is quite normal to start PR once a day and if the prefetch cache makes the loading of PR happen in 7 seconds on a system with conventional disks, then that is great. Anyway, I was a bit off on the 24 hours. I might have used a cleaner to clean old prefetch data on that system. Therefore, I am going to wait a few days without cleaning before I perform the launch test again.

BTW, this is on an old i7-920 system with conventional HDD's only.
