How to capture DVCPRO?

Hello.

I filmed on a DVCPRO (PAL version) camera. Now, how do I capture the footage onto my PC? I have noticed no firewire interface on the camera, only an analog out present. Anyway I wouldn't like to capture analog, what are my possibilities in digital capture then? Would I need a specific card to do so? After I capture I always may convert it to a different format, but now I wonder just of getting the whole thing onto my computer.

regards

You can buy/rent a DVCPRO deck with IEEE1394/firewire interface. Not all of them have it.

Or maybe you can get a dub house to dub via IEEE1394 to miniDV for you.

Firewire transfer is the highest quality, followed by SDI (which can be slightly better if you want to work uncompressed), then component.
