dropped frame detector

Anyone know of a tool that can detect dropped frames after the file has been created... sort of a post transfer diagnostic?

Thanks

You could try sceneanalyzer but you need to step through it frame by frame. This helped me when I had dropped frames that were not being reported by the capture program.

I don't know about a program that can scan all of the footage automatically.

Is this not a problem for others?

I want to be able to copy tapes to hard drive without having to wonder if there was a problem the capture utility didn't see.
