Recently upgraded to Win XP Pro, Capture device no longer working
 
Just like it says above. I went from '98 to XP Pro, and I can't capture. Do I need new drivers for my Canon XL1s or capture card or something? I'm lost here. I can still open Vegas Video 3, I can still open my external firewire drive, but I can't actually log and capture. Not sure where the problem lies.

What's your capture hardware? Have you already tried Googling for updated drivers from the hardware vendor or from Microsoft?

Sorry to have wasted your time. I don't know what it was, but after a reboot and trying everything again, it worked just fine. Please don't hurt me.
