how do I shoot good looking slomo on an panasonic ag-dvc60
 

Hi!
I'm planning on shooting a fight sequence that will go on during a rain storm with some minimal lighting
and was wondering what are some ways to get some good looking slo motion out of it?

I have after effects DONT KNOW HOW TO USE IT AT ALL
I use premiere pro 2.0 fairly good at utilizing it
and I'm really starting to figure out my camera

questions:
should I shoot at 60 fps or 30 fps for good slo mo?
How can I utilize the shutter speed for slo mo?

open iris all the way, fast shutter AT LEAST 1/125th preferably 1/250th

Increase ur shaprness a bit and on a DVC60, id say use frame mode and when slowmotion, use Vegas instead. Even if ur just using the demo.

Interpolate ur frames, and run the supersample video bus track
When slowling down, do it in thirds.
Many people say shoot in interlaced mode due to teh additional reference fields, but I find that the removal of fields prior to edit works better for deliberate interpolation of frames (such as slowmo)
Works for me with the DVX100 and progessive scan..
