interlaced video works awful to tell a story. its too smooth. the video needs to be slightly choppy.

I remember a while back when I used to see skateboard videos that were shot using the Video Mode on Digital Photo Cameras, and I always wondered why the footage looked so much better than the footage on my $1000 video camera. I now understand its because those Photo cameras shoot video at 15fps, so the video is by nature more choppy, and this makes it look way better for some reason. 60i video just doesn't work for telling a story or going for a film look.
