capture problem
hey...
I have a problem. I just bought a firewire card so I can capture my clips digitaly. Earlier i used a TV-card. The problem is that i want to use the clips on my computer. So i want them de-interlaced. Can i do this with firewire in any way? I have really tried a lot... but i cannot get rid of "the lines"... When i caputred with my TV-card it worked when i had low resolution. |
Either shoot in progressive/frame mode if possible, otherwise
most editing packages (as well as mpeg encoders etc.) have de-interlace filters available! Check those out. Good luck |
deinterlace
the photoshop filter deinterlace works well in this situation.
better than any other built in video editing filter. you can render out a targa sequence and batch render it in photoshop |
Re-export without fields turned on
After capturing you video, save it, then drop it into the time line and export the movie with "no fields" tunred on in the export dialog.
There should also be a deinterlace option under the clip/video options/field options (this is mainly for reducing flicker but may help) Good luck. MS |
