Soundtrack pro exporting
When Exporting a mix from soundtrack pro 2, i export an aif file to put back into fcp. the file always has this nasty upward pitch/tempo shift? what gives and how do i correct this??

Just at a guess, is your soundtrack pro timeline set up to the same bit rate as your fcp timeline (probably 48khz in both cases)? You can change pitch by re-sampling at a different bit rate....//Battle Vaughan /miamiherald.com video team

no luck with that, they are both the same! It seems as if the file starts out okay, and then slowly gains a faster pitch/tempo

Got to admit it has me scratching my head. I see a feature in Soundbooth I don't know anything about, but it sounds ominous ---audio pullup/pulldown, which apparently is some kind of compensation for converting to film...it's in percent, which makes me wonder if it were turned on accidentally, could it cause a progressive change such as you are describing? It is in the Project tab and on my system defaults to "none". / B.Vaughan
