iSight modification 6 to 4Pin+Power = DV Camera

Hi,
I was wondering if any has/knows how to modify an iSight to use as a "lipstick" or "helmet cam"...to record into a DV camera's firewire in.
DV cameras are all 4 pin and the iSight is 6pin...a 4-6Pin adaptor should work for everything but power...
Does anyone have any ideas how to do this? Does it run off 12V or 7.2V??
Thanks very much!

It would be cool!, btw how many lines of resolution? 480?

You might want to check out http://www.jonescam.tv/ for a good helmet cam

The bigger 6 pin firewire connector is what professional cameras use, as well as lots of computers like the Mac G4's and 5's. You can get a 6-pin to 4-pin firewire cable at any Radio Shack.

Thanks,
But the issue is power. The iSight (6Pin) requires a power source.
I'm just going with a www.rushcam.com
More rugged, anyways!
Thanks,

Brian

Oh, OK, I missed that part about power. I thought you just needed firewire to firewire.

It looks like the power on an USB bus is 5V (pin 1 + pin 4 ground
I think)
