Ireland
I am trying to make a DVD of my music group Anuna in Ireland. all the shooting is out of doors [saves money on any lights], and I am doing all of it [saves camera operator fees] including the catering...Is there anyone on this list from Ireland who can point me at any resources that might be available here to amateur DV makers?
BTW - purchasing anything in Ireland connected with filming and DV is an over-priced nightmare. can anyone advise on rental of equipment in Ireland? I have a VX2000 with Final Cut Pro, so I'm looking for a suitable steadicam if at all possible. Thanks Michael http://www.anuna.ie |
If you don't get a response from any Irish member here, you might like to try the same question on www.simplydv.com, because I know a few Irish guys who post there regularly.
(Chris, I hope you don't mind me referring accross to the other site ;-) ) Robin |
Hi Michael,
There is one user here from Ireland his name is Patrick Grealy..He uses the same camera that i use.. He may be one person to help you out.. Look at the top of the Forum page and click on members to find him (and his email) Although I am in the states if you need any help with producing the DVD, I may be able to help.. I am a fan of Irish Music, and visited Ireland last year.. I wish you luck.. Mike Moncrief |
