PS2 to view DV via firewire?
Has anyone ever experimented with a Playstation2, to see if you could view your DV via firewire?
In other words: DV -> PS2 -> TV I would go firewire to the PS2, and component from the PS2. The reason I need this is because I am out of component inputs on my system, and I do not have a firewire input on my TV. Thanks, David |
Just tried it for the sake of experimentation....and it does not work.

I've got a cousin who bought a $20 composite video game switcher and is using it as a component video swithcer. Just match the red, white, and yellow composite connectors with red, green, and blue of your component cables.
Click here to see the one I'm referring to I also checked eBay and there are a ton of low cost component video selectors under $50. btw - are you running a HDV cam? |

Tommy, I know that there are plenty of switchers out there, but I figured that if this worked, it would be an elegant solution. Yes, I am running HDV - Sony FX1 camcorder. David |
