that can be transmitted to a low-end mini dv cam

A camera that transmits to a DV cam??? Cameras by themselves don't transmit anywhere. DV cameras don't receive from anything, though some might record as a VTR from a signal fed through an A/V input port. Run that by us again, just what are you trying to do???

I have a cheap little CMOS cam I got from eBay. I mount it and a 9v battery on guitars, drumsticks, hands, etc. for music video stuff. I have also mounted it on a tennis racket, golf club, baseball bat, etc. It has a wirless transmitter with an RCA out that can go into any DV cam. In that case the DV cam is just acting as a VCR....
