True grit
Well I am beginning to wish I had a tapeless camera, after seeing the thin but sinister grey layer deposited on my car the other day. My "tapeless" option so far has been a Firestore but that has moving parts too. Anyone got experience with volcanic ash - is it fine enough to get into your lens when focussing or zooming for example? I think I'll use my raincover when filming outside just to be safe.
Maybe we northern Europeans should just put away our cameras for a bit. |
I think that if the particles are small enough to be breathed in, and get into the lungs, that tehy are small enogh to get into the workings of a video recording device.
The rain cover, is a great idea, just remember to leave a filter over your lens. Sam |
