Does anyone else collect Vinten Vintage kit?
 

I thought maybe a few old-uns might like to see some of the old gear in my studio. Many moons ago at Anglia TV in Norwich - UK, they were doing a bit of downsizing and we were able to buy some of the unwanted/unloved gear. I got a couple of tripods and heads and a Vinten Dophin jib. It's a lovely bit of kit, but it takes two people to get it into the van if I take it out. Mega heavy, but massively engineered - I've got a more modern ped, but some very elderly pantograph heads (Petrels).

Skip through the waffle in the video, but I did want to share the jib. Very few people have even come across them. This would have been just before or after 1980, and it came from the OB fleet.
