Deals at NAB?
 

Hello,
I will be attending NAB this year. I am in need of purchasing various equipment (lights, mics, software, etc.). I can wait for the majority of the stuff until NAB, and was wondering if the vendors there offer discounts if you buy at the show.

Sometimes they do have 'show specials'. And like many scenarios, if you wait until Thursday, they may take additional markdowns. They'd rather sell it than load it up to send back home.

If this is your first NAB, prepare to be amazed at the sheer amount of stuff to look at. Bring comfortable walking shoes!

Everything usually has some sort of discount. For instance, a lot of the stuff at the B&H Photo booth (yes, they have a booth at NAB) and a lot of the stuff is marked down, sometimes by nearly $1,000 depending on the product.

Still, don't expect a steal, just expect a deal.
