Some are ok, some are bad, but I am no pro.
All made with my GS100.

Wow! For a videocam I'd say the pictures are excellent!

Marius,
Its cool! Whats the size of the image? the image we see is the full size of 3.1 mp or reduce size of 3.1mp.

if we see the 3.1mp by 50% or 75%, It will show a very very good resolution.

Marius Burz September 9th, 2003 03:59 PM

It is reduced from 3.1MP to 1024 pixels(width or height depending on the picture. there are some exceptions)

Sorry for writing before seeing the pics but want to point out something.

When downsampling any digitized picture you get rid of some noise - that's old technique. So the only reall comparison can be made looking at the original sizes.

I'll see the photos at home and I'm sure they are great.

Welcome back Marius - had a good holiday?
By the way my best friend lived in Karlsruhe and even I've been once there. Great town, great place to live!

Don't short-change yourself. Considering that these pics were taken with a camcorder, they are quite good. And I've been taking pics since I was 4 feet tall. Taking pictures is no easy task. There's so much to come together, all at once.

Bogdan, the holiday time was great, but gone now(although it was one month long, I feel it was a bit too short). I did a lot of driving arround my country, some of the places I visited last year as well. They are just great for relaxation, not that crowded(like sea for example), and up in the mountains. Just perfect for me.

Frank, about the pics, as I've said some are ok, some are not and no matter what others say, I know where I made the mistakes, and next time I hope I'll make them better.

"and next time I hope I'll make them better."

I've been saying this now for...let me see...for 42 years. My problem is that I hate to get down and dirty (though I keep finding myself in these positions). Or, I'm in too much in a rush or under pressure to snap quickley---and the light changes---a nasty cloud blankets the sun. Or I forget to flip the switch on my flash (because I'm in too much of hurry). Or I forget to switch filters---ever shoot color film with an orange filter on the lens because your previous roll was B&W? Then there is the matter of having too little coffee in my system---you must be familar with that one!
