See I told you so. The professional Panasonic PV-DV953 is a professional camcorder. It is just not as professional as the black professional Panasonic GS100 camcorder. Even the one CCD professional Panasonic MX8 camcorder is a professional camcorder because EE Plaza uses it to make professional pornography movies to make money and meet nice people. The only entities I want to shoot is tomfoolery which does interest me to start me off so I become familiar with my new professional camcorder. Parties and interesting stuff on the streets. Our rodeo will be a great time to shoot professional video. I was thinking of shooting in the shoe store I manage to see how the video will look like in lower lighting conditions that everyone writes about. My uncle owns the women's shoe store and I am sure he will not mind. I did not receive my PV-DV953 today. I hope I get it soon maybe tomorrow and it will be okay.

Fred, I consider a professional cam, a cam which will do the job and make you money. For example, a friend of mine makes a lot of instructional videos with his Digi8, Sony TRV720 (or TEV730). He markets these videos world-wide. In my opinion, therefore, The Sony TRV720 1 chip cam is a professional cam. The only problem is that it's silver, not black (and it didn't cost an arm and a leg). :)

See? Even Frank agrees with me. The PV-DV953 is a professional camcorder. That is why I bought one. Does the Sony TRV720 cost less money? I bet it is not as good as the Panasonic.

The 720 has no "puffed plastic" though. Our old buddy Terrence Smith uses his mx300 professionally as well.

I haven't even heard a boo from Terrence for about a year and a half. And, yes, he uses his MX300 professionally so this makes the Panasonic MX300 a professional camcorder, even though it isn't black. Regarding the TRV720, it is a wee bit puffy, but only because it uses Digital 8 tapes (bigger), and it has lots of stuff, like a built-in light (good for 8 feet, maybe)---no frame mode, though, like these Pana pro cams. :)
