huh, interesting, i didn't realize that.^^

Anyway i'm pretty sure that general concensus is that the AT is a superior mount, it is 49.95 though so it might not be worth it for Frank. It's more adjustable than the Beyer one, not that the Beyer one is bad at all, just that the AT is supposedly better. I'm just passing along what i've read.

I'm pretty sure the shoe adapter will go into a hotshoe.

Tavis, I appreciated your suggestions (with links). I haven't heard back from B&H yet. I'll give it 'til Friday, and then e-mail them again if needed. Ahh, no one wants my money. :-((

I went ahead and ordered that "Beyerdynamic EA86 camera shoe shock mount," since B&H just got back to me today. When I get it, and get the Apex 191 mic (cheap audio solution), I'll give it a test and post my thoughts.
