question on dv852

hello all
i recently purchased a dv852 from b&h
overall i like the camera but have a question
about the jack a/v input on the camera
it seems that the plugs don't go all the way in
i've tried headphones and the supplied a/v cable
does anyone know if the plugs are supposed to
snap/be flush with the camera or is ok to have a little bit sticking out

thanks for any help

oh
i found the perfect padded sleeve for the camera
it's a lowepro #2 lens case

http://www.lowepro.com/pages/series/...es/lencas2.htm

the dv852 fits it like a glove

As far as I know, the plugs should push in all the way. Maybe the sockets are tight.

but they just seem to stop
didn't want to force anything

Just check on the output. If you get video and true stereo left adn right, then you are pluging it right.
