Place a filter in the front of the wide angle adaptor, not in-between the cam and the adaptor, but you can always try that and see what happens. :-))
Which adaptors are you going to buy? With some wide angles, plus an ND, the iris may be forced fully open, so vignetting is a strong possibility. Actually, vignetting is a strong possibility with any wide angle adaptor in front, and worse in-between an with a wide angle. That's why many wide angles don't even come with front filter threads. I would get one with threads, however.
