Optical zoom on the DVX100A?

Can anyone help me out?
I know the Canon XL2 comes with a 20x optical zoom lens.
What's the zoom capability of the DVX100A?

The DVX100a is 10x - equivalent to 32.5mm to approx 325mm 35mm lens equivalent. Wide angle built in is one of its strong suits.

The XL2 is 42.3mm - 846mm - telephoto reach is one of the DVXs weak points.
