$2000 DVX--Available yet?
 

I read in a posting somewhere that the xl2 had pushed the price of new dvx cams down to 2k. Can it be true? Visits to froogle and bizrate leave this unconfirmed.

The question is, in short, how cheap can you get them and where.../?

The XL2 didn't change the retail or street price of the DVX. The DVX's MSRP has remained unchanged at $3995 since it was introduced. The street price is approximately $3300-$3400, anyone selling it for much less than that is almost certainly employing false advertising.
