The DVX100a is an upgraded version of the DVX100. Search around on the board for a list of what exactly is different.

ahh ok. i thought there was an upgrade UPON the upgraded version of the dvx100 (dvx100A).

that's misleading...obviously the dvx100a is the newer/upgraded version, why would they need to put "upgraded version" in the product description!?

mm ok. thanks for answering my question! :)

Well there is about to be a DVX100B, so maybe that's what they were referring to... no difference at all in feature set; just a change in some of the materials used in construction to make it globally compliant with some environmental mandates. Hope this helps,

Chris, is that definite? I have heard about the material changes, but as far as additional changes, Jan was very coy... I am hoping for 16x9 chips. NAB in two weeks
