DVX100A - Upgraded Version!?
hmm, looking into purchasing a dvx100a in the near future, so im looking through the b&h product listing for the dvx100a, and i see an "updated version" for sale here....
what exactly does that mean!? any insight would help! thanks, john *link to product pages* product listing: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...=*&shs=dvx100a product detail page: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...=305960&is=REG |
The DVX100a is an upgraded version of the DVX100. Search around on the board for a list of what exactly is different.

ahh ok. i thought there was an upgrade UPON the upgraded version of the dvx100 (dvx100A).
that's misleading...obviously the dvx100a is the newer/upgraded version, why would they need to put "upgraded version" in the product description!? mm ok. thanks for answering my question! :) |
Well there is about to be a DVX100B, so maybe that's what they were referring to... no difference at all in feature set; just a change in some of the materials used in construction to make it globally compliant with some environmental mandates. Hope this helps,
