Dead Pixels...

Hey,
I got my DVX100A about a week ago, and sure enough, there are about three hot, green pixels on my LCD. They aren't too noticeable, but they are annoying. I actually didn't notice them until tonight. ARG! Is this definitely the LCD and not a faulty CCD? I captured some video, zoomed in on Premiere, and didn't seem to notice anything. Makes me think it is just the LCD, which is okay since most of my shooting comes through the viewfinder anyway. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hey Paul,

Personally don't have an answer for you, bud. But I can suggest you do a general search for "dead pixels" on this site and you will find many suggestions that address this particular issue.

Good luck,

Steph

Thanks, Stephanie. I did some research, and it looks as though it isn't anything about which I should be too concerned. If it gets too intense or worsens, I will just send it off to Panasonic. Thanks for your help! :-)
