UX-180 low light

I got a UX-180 and I like the camera but am not impressed with the low light. I shoot weddings and even in what I would consider to be a well lit church I need to crank the gain. Are there any tips on getting the camera better in low light?

Its 1" sensor is a step up from the 1/3" previous model it replaced but isn't intended to compete against dslrs. The lens is especially slow zoomed in. You can gain an extra stop by turning on High Sens mode.

You have to either bring lights, live with it's low performance, or use a dslr, preferably full frame like 5d or A7S

It's in the SYSTEM MODE menu .

I don't use it because its basically more gain with noise reduction. But sometimes for dark situations you have to do it.
