DVX100A on "Breaking Bonaduce"

I hate to admit it, but I enjoy the VH1 reality show "Breaking Bonaduce." On a recent rerun episode, I saw a DVX100 or 100A in another camera's shot. The image had a very contrasty look and strong color saturation, and I'm wondering if this look is set in camera or done in post? I'm not a huge fan of that look, especially the blown-out highlights, but it would speak a great deal of the camera's versatility if this is achieved in camera.

Does anyone know?

Mostly in-camera... one of the things I DONT like about the DVX. The "b" is actually much better in this regard. The DVX100a seems to put a focus on color at the expense of detail and added noise. You cant regain detail in post, you CAN tweak the colors.
