Is Panasonic's service good?

Hey guys- Canon is pretty well-known for their excellent support of their products with fast service/support/turn-around time......is Panasonic equally good- what has been the forum members experiences?

I recall having an issue with an XL1S I had and sent the unit to Canon in Jamestown, NJ and it was returned within 3 days, what experience can I expect should an issue come up with my DVX100B?

No one has had a Panasonic camera serviced? I guess Pan cams are better than I thought (LOL.)

IIRC, I got my nv-gs400 from Sep 2004 and I used daily ;-) So far I lost my remote controller which I regreted I was so careless. Other than that I use clean tape to clean the head once or twice.
