Wow. That's really gorgeous!

If you have any other stills, please post away!

This camera is amazing. I've only gotten to play with it at B&H, but the images are stunning, especially next to the other MiniDV cameras they have there on display. I can't wait to get one myself.

I will when I get time.

It does the best at closeups, interviews, etc. but as with
most prosumers cams image quality starts to deteriorate
with lots of detail (i.e. moving trees, grass etc.).

It works wonderful fo what I've wanted it to do. I've even
used it for some greenscreene stuff with success. The best
looking stuff from that was of course the closeups.

Chroma Key Test

The free hosting site may start denying the bandwidth,
but I'll post anyway.

This one I used Photoshop and just did a color
range and deleted the greenscreen. No fancy
keying software so that's why it looks bad.
This is where DV really falls apart, but the next
one looks better I think.

The above was done with some After Effects backflips.
Looks better, to me anyway.

The only real problem I have with this camera is the
battery/power supply deal. The batteries don't hold
much and the power supply I believe was made as
complicated as possible. I like the PD150 much better
in this regard. However, I haven't used the Sony
in over a month, so the 100's image quality speaks for
itself.
