GH2: Winter's Grand Finale
This project was shot at 1080-24p during what may be the Grand Canyon's last major snow storm this season.

Re: GH2: Winter's Grand Finale
I thought I'd seen this before. I watched a couple of your videos that influenced me to buy the camera!
You remind me of the single best reason to shoot 1080; the higher resolution. It appears the zooms were done in post? |

Thanks for watching Jeff. |
Re: GH2: Winter's Grand Finale
My mistake about having seen it before. I saw another video with same or similar opening shot of the same area during a snow episode, it was remarkably the same, but has been months so I'm foggy on the details.

Re: GH2: Winter's Grand Finale
Nice job Dan. Did you use the 300x for the time lapse?
Yeah Jeff I thought it was the other one too. There was another shot at the same location in the snow, not sure where I saw it. Hey Dan how about giving us one of the Painted Desert or is that too far away? |

Yes, used 300X, and speeded up in post. Works nicely for daylight timelapse effect. Painted Desert is a good idea. I'll do some research. I was close early this year doing a Monument Valley project with the Panasonic TM700. |
Re: GH2: Winter's Grand Finale
Guys thanks for the time lapse tip. I was scratching my head at first about 300X then realised that you meant 300% variable frame rate. I am continually finding new neat things that I can do with this camera.
