My batteries - all 12 of them - are always charged except at the very end of a shoot. I've had a few rushed bookings to make it good practise. So no issues there. Updated firmware this morning. Though don't plan to use HD - given it up. :) and the ghosting applies more to vlog that I've yet to buy. Rather save that for the August update when I have the bitrate to do it justice. Plus latest Premiere update has sabotaged 10 bit file import unless you pre-transcode or use proxies and vlog is limited at best with 8 bit. I hear Edius handles such files better. Might be worth a look if Adobe continue to stick their merry fingers up at GH5 users. My monthly subscription seems wasted if I have to pay £500 for another editing software to handle GH5 native 10 bit files.

Future update hopes - focusing (I can wish) and baking a LUT in camera rather than just previewing, would be very useful and save me having to apply one in post. Both updates would effectively negate any advantages Canon has over the GH5.

You heard that right that Edius plays the files just fine :) I just shot a testclip in 4k 4:2:2 10bit and loaded a project in edius with the same project setting, including 10bit, it imports and plays fine for one clip, not multicam because as soon as I add a second clip it starts to stutter. One clip however plays realtime and my preview screen is also at full quality but at 8 instead of 10bit, if I change the previewscreen (not the projectsettings because those are still 10bit) to 10bit I get a slight stutter.
My pc is a i7 4790k with 32gb of memory and with no dedicated graphics card.
