GH5 and Atomos Ninja Blade 4K 10 Bit Files

As is well known Apple Quicktime won't play 10 bit files from the GH5.

The Ninja Blade records 10 bit 4K in Apple ProRes.

Will these files play in Quicktime?

I own and use a Ninja Blade. The Blade records in HD. Does not record 4K. According to the Blade's spec sheet at Atomo's web site, HDR is 8-bit, but the blade can record or output 10-bit or 8-bit 422. My camera is a JVC LS300 (8-bit) and I record HD 422 ProRes in the Blade and have no problems importing the files into FCPX or connecting the Blade to my plasma hd tv via HDMI and watching the recorded ProRes files on the tv.

Check out the Blade's spec sheet at https://www.atomos.com/ninja-blade

Ron,
I had recently the Shogun Inferno for testing with a Panasonic AG-DVX200. I recorded 4k/25p in 422 10bit with ProRes 422. It worked well, and recorded clips play fine with QuickTime.

No it's not, that's the display. The Atomos recorders display what they can of the HDR signal on their 8-bit display, it has nothing to do with the actual recorded signal.
