Hi Kris thank, you for asking, but unfortunately I don't have a good answer for you. The only Panasonic camera I use is the S1H and I'm not familiar enough with the S5 to say how much of its features, functions, and recommended settings overlap with the S1H. I assume they are very similar but that is just my assumption.
