Using HDMI television as a monitor with HDX900

I am wondering what my best options are for viewing footage from a Panasonic HDX900 on an HD television with an HDMI input. It looks like the AJA Hi5 format converter would do the job nicely but wondered if any one had experience of trying this? I am shooting at 1080 25p.

An HDTV is for home viewing not critical production monitoring, which means you could use it for framing but not in-camera color balancing or exposure.
