DVFilm Maker for HVX200
 

DVFilm Maker 2.21 will feature support for the
Panasonic HVX200. The camera will shoot
1920 x 1080, 24P and record to an .mxf file
on a P2 card, with a 2:3:3:2 pulldown, in
1080i format.

Maker will remove the pulldown without
recompression and convert the clip into
a 24P quicktime with Avid DV100 codec,
which is a free codec available to everyone,
or recompress to Cineform AVI (which is not
free), in either case suitable for editing on
almost any Windows-based editing system.
like Premiere or Vegas.

Wow this is great Marcus. Now us Vegas guys can work with the HVX200.

Glenn, I think Cineform will support it on it's own. So yes we Vegas people will have plenty of fun. But if Cineform doesn't convert to progressive, DvFilmMaker will be a great option.
