Slow Motion Shutter Speeds

What shutter speeds will give you perfect (frame-for-frame accurate) slow motion in a 24fps timeline?

ie for 60fps would it be 1/250?

What would be good speeds for 30, 32, 36, 48, 60? Do you even need to change the shutter speed for lower ones like 30?

1/120 @ 60fps will simulate shooting film with a 180° shutter. I like shooting at 1/250, myself. You'll get nice, crisp looking motion. A general rule of thumb is to set your shutter speed to twice your frame rate if you're going for the 180° shutter look. You should probably run some tests if you have the time.

Thanks. I'll definitely be running some tests. I was just wondering what you guys used.

If you're shooting in FILM CAM mode, you can set the shutter to 180 degrees and it'll automatically adjust the exposure time for proper motion blur/exposure for whatever frame rate you're using.

Awesome. Thanks, Barry!
