HPX500 with v-mount batteries?
 
I noticed that the HPX500 seems to come with the AB battery mount. Is there going to be compatibility with V-mounts like those from IDX?

All you need to do is either buy the direct plate and unscrew to the AB and instll the IDX or use the AB to IDX adapter plate. Either works and will get you there. There is a set of menus in the camera to deal with the IDX battery settings.
