I mentioned in the Nikon D3s thread about Kornylack's stop-motion techniques using the Nikon D3 to make superb full HD climbing and caving movies.

Wes Anderson used several different DSLR cameras, mainly the D3 and several other DSLR models such as the canon EOS 5D, to make the animated Mr Fox movie for Twentieth Century Fox.

For those of you who are interested in this technique to obtain very high quality HD movies - using the full frame DSLRs in normal stills mode with motordrive (instead of the movie mode), here is a link to how they made the Mr Fox movie:
