Buying bulbs for Lowel lights in UK
 

Hi there,

I have some Lowel 235W ProLights. I love them. But I've just used up my last spare bulb and I'm on the hunt for a good deal. I could go back to the shop where I bought the lamps but I have a hunch that they are quite expensive.

Does anyone know where to buy G5.3 235W 240V halogen lamps in the UK? I've done a fair bit of web searching but I haven't found any suppliers of these lamps.

The exact lamps which came from the camera are:

Osram
235W
230V
"J448" is written on the bulb.

The box says:
GLF
G5.3

what about the 50W conversion you can do with this light for use with 12v, making a oncamera light option.

I've looked everywhere, and so far have only found a 100w version. Which would be an overkill, especially for a wedding, my vidled flood is not good for anything over 2m, so I need something with a bit of kick, and the warmer light means better skin tone.

Anybody do this conversion as well, and have sourced the bulbs?

Your best bet would be to speak to a Lowel dealer in the UK. Maybe someone like Prokit?
