Lowell Omni Lights Replacement Bulbs
 

Just in case anyone has any Lowell Omni lights and is looking for replacement bulbs,

I ordered replacement bulbs (FTK 120V 500W) from B&H and they did not fit into my Omni light. I called B&H and they tested the bulb with the light, and sure enough it did not fit either. (Props to B&H for actually going and testing it while I was on the phone)

I was then informed by B&H that the bulbs I had ordered were listed as the correct model and size, but B&H was shipped the wrong bulb from the manufacturer! So make sure you find out if they have received new bulbs in before ordering these bulbs.

We had a similar issue with another retailer a couple of years ago with the replacements for the Pro light. The replacements had a cast "nipple" on the end of the lamp that kept it from fitting behind the safety glass. Thanks for sharing!
