Desiring the "Flourescent look"...
I've never used flourescents in a production before, however in my upcoming project I'm particularly interested in having the sallow and slightly green flourescent look for a particular scene (I could do with out the flicker... but some minor flicker would be nice at one point just before the power goes out)... Is there any thing specific I should use/not use as a flourescent light source for this? Or does the normal "off the shelf" flourescent at my local Home Depot fit this bill?

I would be quite interested in using fluo lighting in an upcoming project.
What other heads carry the same lamps used by Lowel's Caselite or Kino-flos? Of course I am talking about the U shaped long 55w lamp types. For this particular job I will be shooting PAL video in NTSC and PAL countries, but as these lamps are high frequency I don't think there should be any flicker problem. Carlos |
