Can some please identify the light in the attached picture. I need to do a quick indoor interview, i need to buy three of them with the carrying case.

I do have soft box lights but they are a pain to assemble and re-assemble.

Please help............thanks

It looks like a Lowel ViP Pro-light, I use one as an interview fill/back light. Focus-able with barn doors for clipping gels to etc.

Yep, that's what it is. They only hold about a 200 watt lamp so don't put out much by the time you diffuse it. Nice for a backlight, though, or a little fill when diffused.

Lowel Pro

It does seem to be a Lowel pro light. Actually, you can bulb them up to 250w and they work very well with a number of HDV cameras. I use them as key, fill and to light backgrounds with great success.

Yep, it's a Lowel ViP Pro -
and, believe it or not, outfitted with a 250W bulb,
I often use it as my one and only light for indoor interviews
(since I usually like a bit of "dramatic" effect).
Its focusable & has extremely flexible barndoors
that allow you to really focus the light on a very limited area.
Here's an example (sorry: it's in Italian - but that doesn't affect the light :-),
for I usually do stuff for the Italian-speaking branch of Swiss Public Broadcasting):
RSI - Falò
(click on "Guarda il video - ADSL", at the bottom;
NOT a great encoding, though...)

Great, very flexible & very cheap light - if you ask me...

Best
