green screen
 
would it be possible to green screen a talking head over of footage shot at this studio? the speaker would be keyed in front of the console.

I think that should be possible. Are you going to put someone in
a "chair" in there? In what way will the camera be looking. Shadows
might be important (see the shadows the chairs cast on the
wooden piece of floor)

If the walls and/or lighting really have that strong blue color as in the photo, you should bluescreen the foreground talking head. That way, any blue spill will blend better with the background.

Unless you are planning to have a strong blue fill or rim light on your talent to match with the ambience of the room, in which case you'd need to greenscreen to pull a cleaner key.

I'd personally go for the clean tungsten-type lighting of the foreground of the still without introducing color, then use bluescreen for the key. It can be a nightmare pulling good keys with really color contrasting backgrounds.
