Valid points, Dan. I guess since I hated the ones we had back in Media College 12 years ago (our light kits had VERY little grip gear in them besides REALLY worn out silks...), I just haven't chosen to use them or HAD to use them since. Back then we were shooting with Sony BVW507 OR PVW537 cameras which were light pigs so we NEEDED as much light as we could get so a LITTLE diffusion was often all I could throw at them. I much preferred to grab the Ianiro kit (3 x 1000w, 1 x 650w - complete with scrim packages) and go. Guess I got so used to Ianiros, they and my Lowel Pros were the first lights I bought.
