Canon XH-A1 3CCD HDV Camcorder (NTSC) w/ Pelican case & extras

Upgraded to DSLR cameras and don't use this perfectly good camera anymore. Used primarily at weddings, mostly indoors, never in the rain (with or without cover), probably has less than 100 hours total use on it. Always captured all footage with HV-20 (see this forum--also for sale)

The case was configured to hold shotgun mic + shock mount & wireless mics, so you may want to buy a replacement foam kit to make your own configuration. You can get a Pelican foam kit from B&H, Pelican model# 1511.

The UV filter was kept on the cam 100% of the time, from the moment it was taken out of the box. Only removed a few times last year when the Brevis35 kit was mounted to the lens. NOTE- The Brevis kit was mounted with the rails, so no extra weight was placed on the lens. Batteries where used in sequence as much as possible, and labeled accordingly. Battery 1 and 2 has the most use.

Polarizer filters work nicely for bright outdoor shoots. The slim one is the better glass, but can be hard to reach with the lens hood attached. The larger one is uncoated (cheap) glass, but easier to use.

The grey marks on the body seen in the photos are not scratches, the matte finish reveals marks like this from time to time, and can be easily rubbed off.

Includes:
Canon XH-A1 NTSC (not s model)
Pelican 1510 carry-on rolling case w/ lid organizer
2x 72mm circular polarizer (one super thin multicoated, one regular)
1x 72mm UV-0 filter (for protection)
3x Canon G-series batteries (these things last forever)
Component video cable
Composite a/v cable (unopened)
Original shoulder strap
Canon battery charger
Canon remote
Sony large eyecup (fits over the Canon eyecup--see image 1093)
Canon HDV tape (that came with camera, unused)
Original packaging for XH-A1

Canon XH-A1 HDV Camcorder w/Rode Mic

3 Attachment(s)
I've found that I just don't shoot video like I thought I would. I've got a little used XH A1 in excellent condition, with charger, orders, 2 G batteries and the one that came with it, B+W multicoat UV filter, remote (not shown) a Rode NTG-2 microphone with 25' cord and an 18" L cord for camera mounting, dead cat for mic, and 5 unopened tapes. Looking at the amount of tape I've shot I'd guess I've got 75 hour or so of tape thru it.

Am asking $2,100, includes paypal fees and shipping.

Canon HV30

2 Attachment(s)
I am selling a professionally used Canon Vixia HV30 for $550 obo. I bought it brand new from B&H Photo in the spring of 2009. It has been used, but not abused. I used it to film wedding and music videos for my company. It is a very dependable camera, but I am upgrading to a DSLR. I had it recently serviced to prepare for sale, so its almost brand new again. It comes with everything including in original packaging and I throwing in the official Canon tote bag also. Please feel free to ask any questions.
