Details: I bought this tripod because I wanted to try and maximize the video capabilities of my then new Canon 5D Mark II but since I mainly shoot stills I didn't use the tripod quite often. I can't justify keeping it right now.

I loved the tripod for video but I also used it for time lapses because of the stability it added. Head is very fluid.Legs are very stable like I said. The bag makes it very easy to carry anywhere and is of very high quality. The strap makes it easy to carry without the bag. I'm throwing a 488RC4 Midi Ball Head into the mix, there's a chunk of the ball missing because I dropped it but it's still functioning 100%. A great kit for video and also for photo.

all Rods are straight and the threads inside them are all straight too. Fitting on and extension rod from all sides are smooth and easy.

Philip, I know you use the Z1's with the MRC1K. Will you be selling the MRC1K with the Z1's?

I might be interested in just a recorder on it's own.

Im looking at purchasing a used fx7 or hmc40 for my first camcorder. It needs to be PAL and not wanting to spend much more than $1700. If you have a HDV or AVCCAM camcorder that is in good condition and are willing to sell for or under this price, let me know.
