Item Sold. Thanks!

Todd Kivimaki June 15th, 2006 06:39 PM

$1650 plus shipping for the camera.

Also I have had a couple of questions about the firewire port. In no way is it broken, when Sony designed the cameras they designed it so the start/stop signal does not go through firewire, no Sony camera will start or stop a firestore device by DV control. Again the camera is in perfect condition, and I will guarantee it.

Still Available - price?

Okay, perhaps the price was too high for the IDX kit - I'm open to other offers either by part or as a kit.

As per a few emails, the box is unopened and just arrived from JVC.

Let me know guys.

Best,
Tommy

We've had a change in plan -- while we were originally planning to cut back on our HD operations, we're going to keep them going after all (for the
time being, at least) -- so the equipment is no longer available for sale.

Darrell Hinton June 15th, 2006 09:03 PM

Sorry I'm just now getting back to everyone. I've been really busy. I really have no idea what to even ask for the camera, I was hoping to get some input about what to charge for it from some people who know more about what used equipment goes for than I do. If anyone is interested, just send me and email and we can try to work something out. Derek, I'm about to send you an e-mail. It'd be easiest to sell it to you since you are so close, we could easily meet up so you could check it out before you buy it and no one will have to worry about getting ripped off. But I will definitely sell it to whoever is willing to work out a deal fair to both of us. Anyone have a recommendation for about how much I should be asking?

fs: redrock 15mm iris support base + 9" rods + shim kit

i have two of these kits, and only need one. the one i'm selling here is brand new in the original box, only taken out for an inspection. the base is horizontally and vertically (with the shim kit) adjustable to accomodate most cameras, and the base/rods are standard arri 15mm, so they will fit arri, chrosziel, petroff, cavision and century matte boxes, follow focus setups, and other accessories -- not only the redrock stuff. it's a really solid kit, and a much nicer build than my previous cavision setup.

what you get:

15mm iris support base w/ quick release plate (in original box with docs)
http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c..../it.A/id.36/.f

9" rods (pair)
http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c....it.A/id.157/.f

shim kit
http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c..../it.A/id.92/.f

i'm selling everything for $225 shipped. if you were interested in getting this setup from redrock anyway, this is a chance to save yourself the 3-5 week waiting period and save a few bucks to boot.

note, you will need a set of standard allen wrenches (not included) to adjust the horizontal and vertical alignments.

if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
